Alignment Sticks
Improves:
- Alignment
- Swing Path
- Accuracy
Description:
Alignment Sticks are one of the most versatile tools you can carry — a staple in every serious golfer's bag that assists with almost every drill you'll ever practise, from full swing alignment to putting path work.
These sticks are built at a slightly shorter length (103cm) than standard, which makes them ideal for putting and short game drills where a full-length stick gets in the way. Use them on the ground to check alignment at address, or set them up as gates and rails to train a clean, on-line swing path.
How to use it:
Lay one stick along your target line and a second parallel to it, just outside the ball, to build a visual alignment gate at setup. For path work, place two sticks in a narrow gate just outside your putter or club head to get instant feedback the moment you swing off-line.
Why it works:
Poor alignment is one of the most common — and most overlooked — faults in golf, often the real cause behind a "swing problem" that's actually a setup problem. Training with sticks in the bag means you can self-correct alignment, swing path and overall accuracy without needing a coach standing over you every session.
Coach's note:
I like these specifically for putting drills, and almost every drill includes alignemnt sticks whether thats the use to block a poor swing line or just for accuracy while practicing. A must have for every golfer!
